Grade 5 student Luca Cheetham is one of only 12 students from over 2,500 entries to have their artwork featured in the calendar.

Luca drew a picture for the topic “Don’t have passengers on farm vehicles unless there is a designated seat and seat belt for them.”

Farm safety is very important for Luca as his own family has been affected by a farm accident.

Greenmount State School Principal Andrea Moy said the school has been actively participating in the farm safety calendar competition for quite a few years now and spoke of the importance of learning about farm safety.

As a winning entrant, Luca received a $250 gift card and $500 for his school.
