Jordon and goalkeeping hand in glove
Cambooya teen Jordon Fenton-Anderson has had an amazing season in Futsal and Soccer as a goalkeeper.
Jordon has just competed at the National Schools Futsal Championships, where she was honoured to Captain the South West 15s to runners-up for the second year in a row.
Due to her standout performance at the championships she has just been named on the Australian 16s Futsal team.
Jordon only recently returned from her second Australian Team Futsal Tour, this time to Brazil where she completed the Gol Brasil International Training Program and came home with numerous clean sheets against Brazilian teams.
A real highlight for Jordon this year was being invited to play on a metro team for the Football Queensland Advance Academy State Championships.
Jordon only dropped one goal for the carnival and the girls went through undefeated, ending up being crowned Champions. \t\t\t
This was Jordon’s first Champion Football Queensland medal.
She now turns her attention to the Football Queensland Academy 15s final as part of the South West Queensland Thunder team.
It is the first time a junior female academy Thunder team has made a final.
When Jordon isn’t playing or training she can be found volunteering in the canteen at the RM Williams Equestrian Centre Eventing competitions at Hodgson Vale and pencilling at the Allora Dressage Days.
