Spreading the Christmas cheer
Many local families are doing it tough this year, but thanks to the efforts of generous locals and the Clifton Lions, there will be plenty to smile about.
Dozens of gift items including food and toys have been donated. Not included in this photo are several bags of gifts that have already been distributed to families in need.
Over the past few weeks, kind locals have been dropping off gifts including food and toys under a Christmas tree at the Clifton Courier office.
With the help of some locals, over the coming days the Clifton Lions will sort and distribute these gifts to less fortunate families.
The past couple of months have been especially tough, with the freak hail storm causing major damage to properties, meaning cash-strapped families have even less than usual to spend on gifts.
As well as families with children, the gifts will also be distributed to pensioners who are finding it hard.
Thanks go to everyone who donated something and to all those who helped spread the Christmas cheer this year.
