Many trees were blown down in the storm which came through on Monday night last week (April 21st).

At the Schelberg family farm, the wind proved too much for the oldest barn, built in the 1910s.

“It was so loud, the house shook for ten minutes,” property co-owner Dawn Schelberg said.

In Oakey, a small amount of hail was recorded, but there were no reports of damage in the town.
