The Good Old School Days
Classmates who graduated from Allora State School in 1974 recently gathered for the 50 year reunion.
Principal Megan Rauchle provided a trip down memory lane by conducting a tour of the School.
The class recalled where they watched the first man walking on the moon, the building of the high school and their favourite play spots.
Wendy Watson (nee Shooter) said “whether we had spent a few years together or the whole 10 years, the chatter and laughter showed the strong bonds we had developed.
Everyone spoke fondly of their childhood in Allora and the teachers who had left lasting impressions on them.”
