“This will be a great asset to History Pittsworth,” Mary Sullivan, curator at the Museum, said.

Aside from a couple editions from as early as 1966, Ms Smith has collected each edition of The Sentinel consistently since 1973.

Every edition has recently been donated to History Pittsworth for their safe keeping and research purposes.

History Pittsworth has been a large part of Ms Smith’s life as she has spent over 30 years volunteering at the Pioneer Village.

She kept the copies in a cupboard in her garage.

History Pittsworth is extremely grateful for the donation which will be a major asset to the family and local research centre.
