Unfamiliar flooding in Allora
Last Saturday flooding occurred in Allora outside St Andrews Uniting Church
A local in Allora had recorded 48 mm of rain – probably not enough to cause this flooding.
Graham Hoey from Warwick has attended St. Andrew’s Uniting Church in Allora for about 70 years and has never seen this amount of water in this location before. The main concern was the large quantity of water travelling underneath the church which has wooden stumps.
Main Roads has been contacted re the issue and questions are being asked about the design of the roundabout and whether or not there is a connection.
