Massey Ferguson spared no expense in setting up the Field Day with machinery experts from Germany and the U.S. flown out specifically for the event.

The idea for the Field Day came from a similar event in Belgium that proved so successful it was decided to replicate it in Australia.

Massey Ferguson Senior Vice President Luis Felli thought the occasion important enough that he came out from the U.S to witness first hand the Wyreema Field Day.

“Massey Ferguson has been offering farmers around the world straightforward and dependable machines since its inception nearly 175 years ago,” he said.

“Few brands around the world can claim such a lasting impact in the agricultural industry.”

Massey Ferguson was truly ‘Born to Farm’ said Eric Hansotia, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of AGCO Corporation.

Twelve months of planning the event has been rewarded as 125 dealers and 150 customers joined 40 Massey Ferguson staff on the property of Peter Wilson at Hoffmann Road, Wyreema last Friday.

Customers were treated to the magnificent sight of a huge fleet of Massey Ferguson’s latest model tractors, from the tiny to the monster sized all lined up and ready for inspection.

Experts in tractor technology gave demonstrations to very attentive watchers all keen to see what the latest model tractors have to offer.

Over $30 million worth of tractor machinery was on display with the latest in combined harvesters on offer for a cool half a million dollars and giant sprayers for similar amounts of money.

Massey Ferguson set out to make an impression with their Wyreema Field Day and farmers were left in no doubt that the tractors and machinery on display caught their eye and the method of presentation was first class.
